The video consultation is a brief opportunity for us to meet, discuss what brings you in, and what you’re hoping to change.
We’ll answer your initial questions, explain how we work, and determine whether our services are a good fit for your needs.
If we determine that I’m not the right therapist for you, I’ll gladly provide referrals to other providers who may be a better fit.
There’s no pressure or obligation to continue.
-
If we decide together that we’re a good fit, we’ll talk about next steps and schedule your first therapy session.
Before your first session, each person will complete their own intake questions through our secure platform.
This gives me a chance to learn more about your individual perspective, concerns, and goals before we begin.

For couples and families, each person completes their own intake questions before our first session.
This allows for many of the basic questions - to be answered - ahead of time. Each person will have the chance to share their perspectives.
I respect that therapy is an investment of both your time and money. Completing the intake ahead of time allows us to use our first session to focus on what brought you to therapy, understand the patterns within your relationship, and begin working toward the changes you want to make.

Vibrant Life Counseling is an out-of-network provider and does not bill insurance directly. Payment is due at the time of service.
If your insurance plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits, I’m happy to provide a superbill—an itemized receipt for services—that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
Because benefits vary by plan, I recommend contacting your insurance provider before beginning therapy to ask about your out-of-network coverage and possible reimbursement.
-
A Good Faith Estimate for mental health services is a document which outlines the estimated costs you might incur during your therapy process, including session fees, assessment costs, and any additional charges.
This helps you understand and plan for the financial aspects of your mental health care, ensuring transparency and empowering you to make informed decisions about your care.
